I love my parents and I want to know how I should respect them.

I love my parents so so much!

One day while I was eating breakfast, I started thinking: What does the Torah have to say about honoring our parents?

We're sorry Honey , but we don't remember the answer for that.:(

So I asked my dad, and he said he did not know, I also asked my mom and she said she did not know as well.

So... I decided to go onto the computer and look for answers on the Internet.

You guys wont believe what I found out!!!!!

First I found out that I have to fear and honor my parents no matter what! Even if they are mean or not nice too me.

(but let me tell you a secret my mom and dad are the best)

Second, I found out that I should respect my parents. For example, I should never take my mom's or dad's special place!

I also fount out that I must honor AND fear both of my parents equally! (That's why I got them two gifts :) )

• I also found out that I have to give my parents food, drinks and clothing if they need it, because this is part of honoring them. I should, as well, stand up for them! As this is part of fearing them.

I also learned that I should honor and respect my parents because I can learn how to properly honor G-d!

For example, since I can give gratitude to my parents, I am FOR SURE able to give gratitude to the Creator!
