There once was a battle between the Greek warriors and the people of Troy.

This battle started at the wedding of King Peleus and a water nymph. The evil goddess of Discord, Eris, was naturally not popular in Olympus, and when the gods gave a banquet they were apt to leave her out.

At the wedding there was a golden apple labeled "For the fairest " . Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite all fought over this apple until the battle was settled.

Aphrodite the goddess of love won the apple because she promices the price of paris (The Keeper of the Apple). The most beauthiful woman inall of Greece.
