Long ago, about 12 years ago, my little brother Fabian was born.

He began to grow up so fast! My sister and I got sad.

My sister Mariela and I watched Fabian grow for years. But then, we thought about how fun it would be if we had another sibling!

....maybe another baby brother so Fabian could eventually have a best friend to play with just like his sisters have eachother.

One day, my mom was putting clothes away in her room. I went in and asked her if I could ask a question.

Mom!!! Can we have a baby brother or sister?

"Later in the future you might get another sibling," my mom said. So I ran to my sister and told her the news.

Years went by and suddenly we had exciting news.

We have news for you!!

My parents then told my siblings and I we were going to have a little baby in our family!

We were all so happy and excited! We could not believe it! We had to celebrate!

Since I was the oldest, I decided to go to baby appointments with my mom.
