Once there was a boy named Colin. He was a boy who had done nothing wrong his whole life. He was considered the smart kid in his class. Colin was also very popular. These things made him a huge target for the other lids in his class.

One day Colin walked into his seventh grade classroom to find maple syrup dumped all over the teacher's chair. Nobody in Colin's class would admit to doing it. One of the boys in the class said Colin did it. Colin did not do it so he wouldn't admit to it. The whole class had to go to detention.

Colin had a perfectly clean record so it irritated him that he would be missing his soccer practice and would have to go to detention because of his classmates actions.

He went through his day at school. Wondering who did it. In his head he came up with 4 suspects. They were

• Julian - the kid who blamed him
• Katie - the one who sits closes to the teacher's desk
• Auggie - The Class Clown
• Carly - the one who was cracking up the whole time
