WHO PAYS THE MONEY,PLAYS THE PIPE

One day,Hodja was going to the market.The neighborhood children came and said,'Hodja,buy us a pipe!'

'All right,all right,I will' he said.He wanted to make them happy.One of the children was Ali.Ali put money in Hodja's hand and said 'Hodja,buy me a pipe with this money.'

Soon Hodja came back from the market.The children came again.Hodja saw Ali.

'Ali,you gave me money,'he said.'Here is your pipe.'The other children asked,'Where are our pipes?Where are our pipes?'

Hodja said' Who pays the money,plays the pipe.'

JUST DON'T TELL ME!

One day ,Hodja was angry with his donkey.He said to his son,'No food for this donkey!No water!Let it die!'

Then they walked outside.The donkey couldn't hear them.Hodja said,' Well,I only wanted to scare that donkey.Feed him,give him water.But don't tell me!'

A MAN OF HIS WORD

Hodja's friends asked him one

day,'Hodja,How old are you?'

'I am forty years old.'he answered.

Ten years later,they asked him the same question.He gave the same answer.

'Come on,Hodja!You said the same thing ten years ago.Why?'

'A man of his word keeps his word!'Hodja said proudly.
