8.what you do when you think you are in danger
No running in the hallways is one of the many rules that almost every school has. The reason that you are not allowed to run in the hallway is because it could lead to injuries. Some are, tripping, running into other people, running into something, and you could slip on some water or other liquids on the floor, a spill, a slip, a hospital trip. You could get seriously hurt if you did run in the halls, so I suggest that you don't. These safety rules are very important. The first one is the FIRE DRILL. You need to know exactly what to do.
School Safety
1.Stop doing what you are doing.
2.Line up quietly in front of the door.
3.Quietly walk outside to your muster point.
4.Stand quietly outside while your teacher counts all of his/her students
5.And wait until you know if it is a practice or a real fire.
6.Return to your class if it was a practice fire drill.

Recess Safety
Some safety rules for recess are...
1.Always keep your head up. You could get into a serious accident.
2.Never run up a slide. You could get hit by another person coming down the slide. Trust me, I learned that the hard way.
3.If someone gets hurt (especially A younger kid) go and help them. If you are older, then you should know what to do.

5.Don't play dangerous games when it is slippery. One example is the game Grounders. In Grounders you have to close your eyes on the equipment. You could slip or fall off of the equipment and really hurt yourself.
6.Never Bury anyone in the snow during winter time. They could get frost bite or if they are claustrophobic, then the person will start to cry and get really scared of being buried.

And please don't be a reckless runner because
you could end up like Wile e Coyote----------------->

Walking Safety
Some walking rules that you will need to learn are... Never talk to strangers. They could talk you into a trap. Some people say, "hey I have a cute puppies in my car would you like to see them?" Which is one of the very many phrases they could use. Some other people might just come up to you and say come with me right now!
If that happens then scream, kick, and do whatever you can to try and get away from that person. Make sure that you can draw some attention to yourself so other people will try to help. Another important rule is Always look Before you cross the road. And when you are on the road keep on looking for cars. If you don't, then you could get hit by the car. When you are crossing the road and it is dark out make sure that you have something bright on so that it makes it easy for people to see you.
And last but not least, Being on time. So let's say that your parents tell you that you have to be home by 3:26 after school, then you would have to get home and call them. If so, then you shouldn't waste your time on anything. When you get home make sure that you call your parents because they could get really worried about you. And make sure that you get to school on time because the office will probably call your parents and tell them that you are not there, and your parents will get worried.
Safe Strangers vs Strangers
Safe Strangers
1.A mom/dad with children.
2.A good neighbour.
3.A police Man/Woman.
4.A Firefighter.
5.A person who works at a gas station or a person who works at a supermarket.
6.Your teacher
Safe strangers are people you don't or don't quite know, but you can trust them. Unlike strangers those people that I listed are trust worthy. A safe stranger is someone you can turn to for help. And safe strangers make you feel comfortable were as strangers make you feel uncomfortable.
