Hello! My name is Nina Tirsina ,I a´m a Secondary School English teacher at a modern and nice lyceum in the heart of the country,the capital of Moldova Chisinău.I love teaching and I love innovating with new methodology and tools. I´m really fond of eTwinning because it´s a great opportunity to broaden my students´interests and develop their communicative, social and personal competences. I´m an eTwinning ambassador since December 2019.So, travelling in virtual twinspace and meeting people is one of my interests as it allows me to learn about other cultures and see the world through other perspectives. Any project which is due to involve pupils directly in the project and to promote interaction with their peers from partner schools are a must.

My role as an eTwinning Ambassador

TOPIC 1: AMBASSADORS IN THEIR SCHOOL

I have been involved in eTwinning projects since 2017. I have collaborated with great success in  10 closed projects. i got 2 Europeen quality Labels in 2017 and 1 National Quality label this year. This year I am an active member in 3 projects. . We attend to apply for eTwinning school this year .I  have organized different seminars and came with  communication during the school  teachers' council promoting the importance of being part of eTwinning .New eTwinners became part of our big community this year .

TOPIC 3: AMBASSADORS IN THEIR COUNTRY 

I was awarded National eTwinning Prize 2019 and I was delegated to take part at the Annual eTwinning Conference in Cannes. I also organized  activities as a local ambassador -eTwinning school 2020 

Roles of eTwinning ambassadors in their school, such as:

 1. Engaging their colleagues and management team with eTwinning;

 2. Promoting eTwinning in their school through projects and peer support;

 3. Proposing eTwinning projects and collaborative activities involving more teachers and students from the school;

 4. Running professional development workshops for colleagues;

 5. Mentoring colleagues and helping them to join the eTwinning community;

 6. Integrating eTwinning projects into the curriculum;

 7. Empowering students to become agents of change;

 8. Helping to embed eTwinning in the school’s policies,.
