We all have heard of Thomas Edison and his amazing innovation, the Incandescent Lightbulb. but have you heard of his not-so-famous employee?

Meet Nikola Tesla, He was born in croatia in 1856. He was born with a photographic memory and could speak 8 languages!

Tesla and Edison together worked in Edison's lab to create Direct Current electricity. In Tesla's free time he would experiment independently. Fiddling with things like toy trains that ran electronically on tracks.

Tesla was very smart and could fit mental puzzle pieces together in his brain. He understood physics and math and could see inventions before they happened!

Tesla, with a vision in mind was trying to innovate on Alternate Current. A type of electrical current that could be wide spread and could reach more places and was easier to install and use. There was no masterminding behind this, just innocent desire to benefit Edison's electric company.

Tesla had invented a motor that used Alternate Current. with an enthusiastic confidence, he showed it to Edison. But Edison simply blew it off and dismissed Tesla. He knew what it was and saw it as interference with Direct Current. He told Tesla it was dangerous and risky.

This disappointed Tesla. Edison later pulled another stunt that involved money. Edison asked Tesla to come up with a better design for one of his Direct Current contraptions for $50,000. Tesla, being the ambitious worker he was fulfilled the task. Only later to find that he had been fooled; he was blamed by Edison for not understanding "American Humor"

in a very short manner, Tesla had a resignation letter ready and handed it to Edison. Edison, who was dismayed quickly reassured himself that he was better off without Tesla. However, Tesla was so quick to resign that he hadn't had a plan of action.
