PHOTOSYNTHESIS!!

Hi! I'm Flowey.

And I'm Rose! And today we are going to teach you about

PHOTOSYNTHESIS!

PHOTOSYNTHESIS is the way plants take sunlight and turn it into food!

Yes! So we don't get hungry!

This is a plant cell. There are a lot of words, but we will be focusing on the CHLOROPLAST!

The CHLOROPLAST is where PHOTOSYNTHESIS takes place. I hear you asking "But how does PHOTOSYNTHESIS work?"

Inside the CHLOROPLAST, as light goes in, two different systems turn that light into food so that the plant can grow big and healthy!

Sunlight, Carbon Dioxide, and Water go into the CHLOROPLAST and oxygen and sugars come out!

The oxygen helps us breathe, and the sugars are used in the plant as food!
