Pip was a small and weak ant. He lived in an ant hole in Bug City.

One day, a very greedy grasshopper named Bali Bali came to Pip's anthole.

When Pip came home from a shopping spree he was shocked to see Bali Bali eating all of the food.  He even ate the desert Pip got! Not even a crumb was left on the plate. Pip was so sad that he felt like crying!  Instead he said,"Bali Bali what are you doing here?" 

"Oh Pip what am I supposed to tell you? Let's just say that now that it's Spring, I deserve a snack!" said Bali Bali. 

"What do you want from me?" shouted Pip annoyed.

"What did you say? All the munching and crunching makes it hard to hear you."said Bali Bali. 

"Oh never mind," said Pip with a gruff.  With that he marched off to his room. He wasn't even paying attention to what Bali Bali was doing. Over night Pip secretly came up with a plan to get Bali Bali to leave.

 I wonder what trick will work on Bali Bali??

By morning he had chosen his plan. At breakfast, Bali Bali said, "Pip it's morning!  Now, where is my breakfast?"

"Actually, I heard from the Mayor that he buried a pot full of food," said Pip.

"Is it big enough for me to eat?"asked Bali Bali.

"Yes, but you have to dig it out,"said Pip.

"Where is it?"asked Bali Bali.

At the Crossroads Station,"Pip replied.
