The story of the Halifax Explosion is devastating, on December 6, 1917 Imo and Mont Blanc where two ships carrying heavy artillery and sending it to soldiers to fight for the war that happened to run into each other.

When the two ships collided into each other, the impact of the collision had detonated the explosives that Mont Blanc was carrying.

As they collided the explosion produced an enormous shock wave which is a really hot blast of pressure from the exploded TNT.

The explosion was the largest man made explosion that had ever happened before, until when the atomic bomb was dropped in Hiroshima during World War II in 1945.

As the enormous shock wave went out, it went in all directions, one direction was the large town of Halifax in Nova Scotia, Canada.

In less amount of time it takes for you to blink your eye, the enormous shock wave had already tore through Halifax.
