Soccer is a game that is played in two halves. The teams are constantly on offense or defense throughout the game trying to outscore the other team.

Hockey is a sport where there are two teams with 6 players (including goaltenders) on the ice. They play 3 periods trying to outscore the other team by hitting the puck into the opposing teams goal.
