Your brain is the big boss of your body.

Your brain is a wrinkly, gray, soft, wet organ that is inside your skull.

Your brain tells your muscles when and how to move. It lets you laugh and cry. It also allows you to learn new things.

It is faster than the fastest computer!

Cerebrum is in charge of thinking. You need it in order to do things such as solving math problems and making plan for the day.

Cerebrum has two halves, a right half and a left half.

The right half controls the left side of your body while the left one controls the right side of your body.

The right side of your brain helps you be creative such as drawing and playing an instrument.

The left side helps you read and solve problems.

The cerebellum is the biggest part of the brain. It's the gray wrinkly upper part!

It is there to help you with your coordination and balance.

Without your cerebellum, you could not walk in a straight line or kick a soccer ball.

Right in the middle of your brain, you can find a hypothalamus. It is like a thermostat that tells you when to sweat and when to shiver.

It is the part of your brain that keeps your body at 37 degree Celsius.

Your brain contains many small parts that play big roles. A small group of cells called the amygdala is responsible for controlling your feelings. They help you feel happy when you receive a gift.

Or sad when you lose a soccer game.
