What’s wrong with me? Why couldn’t I just do it? I know I needed to present my project but I couldn’t do it. Everyone’s going to laugh at me. I’m Aubrey Williams. I’m 11 years old and I go to Wellington Elementary school in Malibu, California.

I’m a big girl in a big school so why can’t I do it? It’s almost like I stand up in front of a crowd and my stomach gets all bubbly and I feel like I could just fall through the floor. I hate the spotlight on me. I know I suffer from something called anxiety but nobody in my class understand or knows what that is. All the other kids laugh at me and tease me. Why do they laugh at me? I’m trying my best. They just don’t get it.
