
The Christ the Redeemer statue is an Art Deco Giesu, located in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The statue is 30 meters high, not including the 8-meter-high platform, and the statue's sculpture is 28 meters. The statue weighs 635 tons, located on the top of 700 meters high Corcovado Mountain, in the Tijuca National Forest Park looking towards the city.

The statue is a symbol of Christian B razil, becoming a cultural image of both the city of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil. The statue is made of reinforced concrete and metamorphic steatite, which was built between 1922 and 1931.

It is an architecture block with an elliptic section with 188m long axis and 156m short axis. Walls of the stadium are built up to 50m from the ground. Over 100,000 m3 of travertine with more than 300 tons of metal used to build the arena.
