What is Gravity?
Gravity is an invisable force that pulls objects towrds the center of the earth, or any physical body with mass.
The Three Main Ideas of Gravity
You may have herd of the fact that there are three main ideas of gravity, these are the main ideas of gravity.
1. Everyday Sence: The force that causes objects to fall on the ground.
2. Newton's Laws: How gravity keeps the solar system together.
3. Velocity: Contains both the magnitude and direction of gravity.
Why is Gravity so Important?
Gravity is important for all kinds of reasons. It is important for instance because,
- It is a force that pulls all matter (witch is anything you can touch)
- The more matter an object has the more gravity will be needed.
What does Mass and Matter mean?
Mass: mass is a mesure of matter, mass can depend on the number and kind of atoms in an object.
Matter: matter is any substance that has mass and takes up space with volume.
What does Mass and Matter have in common with Gravity?
Mass relates to gravity because every object in the universe that has mass exerts a gravitatonal pull, or force on every other mass.
Matter relates to gravity because the lager an object is the more matter and force is needed.
How much Gravity do you have on the Solar Systym Planets?
Murcery 3.7 m/s2
Venus 8.87 m/s2
Earth 9.807 m/s2
Mars 3.711 m/s2
Jupiter 24.79 m/s2
Satern 10.44 m/s2
Uranus 8.69 m/s2
Neptune 11.15 m/s2
Why don't you have Gravity in Space?
Gravity causes all objects to fall on the ground unless it's being held up by some other force. 89% out of 100% Americans think there is no gravity in space but they are wrong. It is a little known fact that a little bit of gravity can be found in space. It is what holds the Moon's orbit around Earth.

How does Gravity work on Water?
Gravity works differently on water because it is a different substance. When you put something in water, gravity can pull it down. If an equal amount of volume is allowed to go up against the force of gravity present. In effect gravity has to chose which it will pull down the water or the object.
