Part One: Family Trips

My family and I have been on many fun, amazing trips. It starts way back when my siblings and I were young. My parents would rent out a camp on Worthley Pond and somehow my entire family would end up there. I love going there and cannot wait for this summer!

Another trip we do during the summer is go to Funtown Splashtown USA. My dad started this tradition. My siblings and I would get in the car and my parents would just start driving. Once we finally arrived, we wanted to go on every single ride there was. My dad would go on with us and my mom would be watching us, always taking pictures.

We've also been to many different states. One of them was Florida. We traveled there by car to go to Disney World. We went to many different parts of it, but my favorite was Magic Kingdom. We stayed at a resort near by and it was amazing! I was very young but I still remember how much fun I had and of course, how hot it was.

Another state we traveled to by train, was Oregon. We went to visit my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousins that live there. It took us three days to actually arrive. I liked the train ride though, it allowed me to see so many states and meet so many new people. We stayed with my family in Oregon for two months and I loved every second of it!

The second time we went to Oregon, we went by plane. It was my first time being on a plane, so at first I was nervous. When we finally started to take off, I never wanted to get off. We had so many delays. One of them was 9 hours in Atlanta, Georgia. I love it there and would travel there any chance I got. This time, when we arrived we went right back on the road. Our destination: California.

We went to many places. Some including Beverly Hills, Hollywood, San Fransisco, Los Angeles, etc. I love California, even though it's hotter than what I'm used to. They have many different opportunities than here in Maine.

Part Two: Hobbies

In my spare time, I like to do many things. Most of them, outside. During the summer, I love going camping. My family and I camp at Mt. Blue State Park. I like going there because there are many trails and a swimming area.

Kayaking is another one of my hobbies. It's a way that I can relax and just have a good time. When camping, we always bring our kayak. It's the first thing my cousins, siblings, and I do when we get there.

My family also does a lot of boating (besides kayaking.) My Pepere gets his boat out and we go wherever the closest body of water is. We started this when I was very little. Today, it's still one of my favorite hobbies.

Biking is also one of the hobbies that my dad and I do together. We started doing this when he first taught me how to ride a bike. Together, we go on many trails nearby and see who can get home the fastest. We also bike at camp.

At my Grammys, we have four wheelers. I love driving them. My Pepere taught me how to drive a standard and it took some time, but now I can drive it very easily. I always take my cousins for rides on it.
