It was a peaceful day in Chelsea’s body as she was skipping along the sidewalk up to her house when she tripped over a small rock and cut the skin on her leg.

The incident caused inflammation, which triggered our nonspecific defense alert and we raced towards the break in our shield to close it before anything bad could get in.

Unfortunately, an army of antigens saw the cut and charged in before we could seal the opening.

It would’ ve been easier if they came through the nasal opening because then our nose hairs and mucus team could easily dispose of them.

We called for backup and the antibodies came to the rescue.

Then they captured the antigens and took them to jail where they would be examined by our white blood cells.

While processing the antigens, the white blood cells didn’t know who they were and they asked for help from the antibodies to take them for specific defense processing.
