Activities of daily living are used to measure disability.
The six basic activities measured are eating,bathing,dressing, using the toilet, maintaining continence, and getting in and out of bed/chair.

Board -and-care homes are basic long term care homes. They provide many services including physically supportive dwelling units, assisting with medication, and light care with ADLs, but do not provide nursing care.

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a nurse aide who assists patients with healthcare needs.
Their duties include:
*Taking Vitals
*Serve meals and help patients eat
* Bathe and dress patients
*Help patient move

In which the government created the Anti-Kickback provisions laws is a criminal statute that prohibits the exchange , of anything of value, in an effort to induce the referral of federal health care program business.

A long term care facility is an institution,commonly referred to as a nursing home, that is a duly licensed to provide long-term care services.

Meals on wheels is a home-delivered meal service.
