For Mrs. Piccolo, the teacher who made me actually want to write this.

The Nuttington family, Walnut, the dad, Acorn, the mom, Cashew, the older brother, and Pecan the little sister, live in a beautiful tree house in the woods.
Everything was serene, until one day when the humans arrived.

The people chopped down all the trees, giving the squirrels nowhere to live, so they had to leave.

The squirrels traveled for days, sleeping under logs and having little to eat.

Where will we go, dad?
But while they were traveling, Acorn realized something horrible...

We left behind Pecan!!
The whole family was in a panic, but Walnut was able to calm them down.

I know it's sad, but it's too dangerous to go back. We're going to the swamp!
The only problem with that is that the swamp animals don't like the woodland creatures because the squirrels have come here in the past.

This is our swamp now!
The Nuttington's traveled to the swamp, but when they got there, there were immediately troubles.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN OUR SWAMP!!!!
Life in the swamp was hard because there were very few nuts, and whenever they tried to make a home, the angry swamp animals would tear it down.

Daddy, I'm hungry

Go back to where you came from!
Squirrels stink!
But through all the hatred, Hoppette, a frog, was the only one who would be friends with them.

Oh my goodness, Thank You!

I'll be your friend!
They tried to ignore the swamp animals, but one day, a couple of squirrels destroyed a popular frog feeding spot. This made them mad as wasps.

We're going to get you!!
AH!

The family had to hide in a tree for several days while the frogs looked for them.

Life was tough, especially without Pecan, who everyone missed.

Cashew wanted to get Pecan back, so he tried to come up with a plan to save her.

Hmmm...

Go back to the forest!
He thought for days trying to come up with a plan, and one day, while he was hanging out with Hoppette, it came to him.

*Gasp* I've got it!
What?
His plan was to run to the eagle feeding area, hope a hawk catches him and takes him to the woodlands, where he can save Pecan.

Where are you going Cashew?
Just going for a jog.
Cashew ran to the feeding area, hid behind a bush, and waited still as a stone.

Suddenly, a huge brown eagle swooped down and picked up Cashew in one swift move. He began to fly higher and higher.

Cashew immediately wished he hadn't done his plan. He knew that the eagle would probably eat him before he could escape. His only hope was to escape now.
