Leonardo Fibonacci's Childhood
Leonardo was born in 1175 in the Republic of Pisa which is now Italy. His father was a wealthy merchant who directed a trading post in Bugia, but there is not any information on his mother. As a young boy Fibonacci traveled with his father to different trading post and met different merchants where he learned many forms of math.
Education
As a young boy when Leonardo would travel to different countries with his father and learn their mathematical systems. Leonardo started loving mathematics from a young age so he had an easy grasp on learning different mathematical subjects. When he got his love for math he pursued it and later became a mathematician and philosopher.

1.Leonardo Fibonacci discovered a new number sequence which he laster call the Fibonacci sequence.
2.Leonardo also discovered the mathematical relationship of "phi" aka the golden ratio phi=1.618
3.Leonardo examined the system of root extraction which led to other mathematicians using his discoveries to create many mathematicals problems being created
