Deep into the depths of the Pacific Ocean 

lived a village of red-shelled crabs.

As each day passed, the red-shelled crabs of 

the village awaited the hatching of the Queens 

eggs.

The day had finally come, and the Queens eggs were 

beginning to hatch. 

Of all the red-shelled crabs that hatched, one of 

them had been blue-shelled. The red-shelled 

crabs were shocked to sight a blue-shelled crab 

in their village. Especially the Queen Crab.

The Queen Crab thought to 

herself, "Why are all the other 

crabs red, but this one is blue?"

The red-shelled crabs gathered 

around the blue-shelled crabs and 

said, "He is not like us, he's ugly!" 

They then followed the Queen Crab 

back to the village and left the 

blue-shelled crab all alone.
