Food is the main source of energy that supplies our bodies. It works just like how water and sunshine keep plants growing and healthy.














Eating healthy foods is how we get our energy. This includes foods like apples, broccoli, and peaches. Eating sugary foods such as candy and icecream supplies energy but not the same type of energy we need to keep us moving all throughout the day.






It's okay to eat sugary foods in moderation. Say you want to eat an icecream cone. Eating that for dessert is okay as long as you are balancing it with good portions of fruits, vegetables, protein and whole grains.









Your body has its own enviromnent. By giving your body nutritious, healthy foods you are giving it a good environment for your good bacteria to live in.
Diseases and illnesses can infest your body easier when you are not eating healthily. Your body's environment isn't as good when the foods you are eating are refined and processed. It takes natural, healthy foods to keep a good environment. It becomes a place for bad bacteria to live in when you don't Bad bacteria is what makes you sick.
Refined and processed foods can also get to your brain and impair it. If your diet is VERY HIGH in sugary, high calorie foods, you also have a HIGHER risk for diseases, diabetes, and other sicknesses.
This takes a very unbalanced diet of sugary, high calorie foods. Most people eat well without even having to think about it.

But that is nothing to worry about as long as you understand what you are putting into your body.
