Ever since Katie and Sally were little kids they have always loved to play soccer. They played everyday after school in Sally's backyard.

As they grew up, Katie and Sally began to play with other girls who liked soccer too, but they noticed that the boys could play on a real team... but they couldn't.

When Katie and Sally reached high school, they had both been so excited to play soccer on a team, but the coach said no girls could play.

Let's do this!

I'm sorry, but I overheard that you were going to try out, but we don't allow any girls on the team.

Katie and Sally both went home sad, all they've ever wanted since they were little was to play on a team. They both asked their mom and dad why they couldn't play.

Why can't I play soccer?
The school doesn't want to spend the money, and they are not required to.
How come boys can play and have a team?
The school thinks boys sports are more important, and they would rather spend their money on boy's sports.
