To my future students, anything is possible if you have good intentions.

Jake was a tiny and quiet little boy at Madison Elementary School.

He didn't talk much because he was too shy. Other kids at school would never play games with him during recess.

Jake had no idea how to make friends. He didn't even know how to start a conversation with them.

One day at school Jake decided he would try and talk to one of his classmates named Sarah.

When Jake was next to Sarah his mind went blank, and he didn't know what to say.

The only thing he was able to do was look at Sarah's pencil. He acted quickly and snatched the pencil out of her hand.

He felt bad after stealing her pencil, but he didn't know what else to do. Jake felt horrible.

Sarah began crying because Jake had taken her favorite pencil.
