Chapter 1

Gabriela was practicing dancing in her living room. She always practiced before she went to Liberty Arts. She was practicing ballet right now, and she was having trouble doing a twirl on her toes. '' Come on, you can do it!'' she said to herself before she tried again. Sadly, she fell again but she kept trying. Soon, she had to go to Liberty Arts. Today, they were practicing ballet, so she could stay in her dance wear.

'' Come on, Gabby! Let's go to Liberty Arts!'' beckoned her mom. ''Coming!'' Gabriela replied. Soon they were in the car. As they drove, Gabriela thought of how amazing it would be to learn how to do that twirl. Everybody would love it, for it was quite advanced. She imagined everybody clapping and loving her performance. Suddenly, they pulled into the Liberty Arts. Gabby jumped out and said goodbye to her mom. Then, she ran inside Liberty Arts. When she went in, she saw all of her fellow dancers and friends chatting. Her best friend, Teagan, waved. Gabriella waved back nicely and walked over to the bench she was sitting on.

''Hi, Gabriela!'' Teagan said as she put on her ballet shoes. ''Hi, Teagan!'' Gabby replied, ''I don't know how to do my twirl.'' '' Don't worry, you will get it,'' Teagan encouraged. '' Thanks,'' she said back. Soon, it was time for everybody to start. Everybody got in their positions and got ready to dance. '' Okay everybody, let's start! First, let us practice our basic positions,'' the dance teacher said. The teacher could be a bit stern, but she was very nice. Gabriela danced away to her heart's content. '' Okay everybody! You all get free time for 15 minutes then back to work!'' the dance teacher instructed. Gabriela practiced her twirl. She almost got it!

While Gabby was practicing, she saw a new girl. She walked over to her. She had pretty blond hair and a pretty ballet outfit on. '' Hi there!'' Gabriela said. "Hi! I am new. My name is Peyton. What is yours?'' Peyton said. '' My name is Gabriela, but you can call me Gabby.'' Soon, Peyton and Gabriela were very good friends. After dance class, the teacher said she had an announcement. '' Sadly, we have to close down Liberty Arts due to budget cuts. We are only going to have 5 more dance classes.'' she said sadly. Everybody gasped. Everybody whispered. Everybody was upset.

Chapter 2

Gabby was sad. She loved dancing here! How would she get better? How would she continue her love of dancing? Questions raced around her head like a race car. Something broke into her thoughts. '' That is too bad that we have to stop doing this,'' Teagan said,'' I was looking forward to the dance show.'' Suddenly, that gave Gabby an idea. She ran to the teacher and started telling her her plan.

'' I have an idea of how we can save Liberty Arts!'' Gabriela said. The teacher looked at her questionably. "We can have a dance show to raise money! We can just move our dance show sooner!'' The teacher seemed to think about it. '' If everybody practices and works hard...'' Everybody stared at her in excitement. ''Sure!'' Everybody was very happy after that! Everybody went home and practiced very hard. When Gabby told her mom, she was proud that she thought of such a brilliant idea. Gabby practiced and practiced and practiced. When Gabby was done practicing she was really tired. She jumped in bed and soon, was fast asleep.

When Gabby woke up the next morning, she called her friend, Teagan. They talked about all sorts of things, like Liberty Arts, the dance show, Peyton, the twirl, and a lot more. They decided to meet with everybody that participated in the dance class at 3:00 at Gabriella's house. They would practice, talk about costumes, and pass along ideas. When Gabby got off the phone with Teagan, she got ready and ate breakfast. She told her mom and dad about her plans. They were excited for her, and she was excited too. After breakfast, it seemed like a minute was actually a hour to Gabriella. The hours dragged by. Finally, it was 3:00. At around 3:10, everybody was there getting dressed into their ballet
