Once upon a time in a tropical kingdom in Costa Rica there lived a Prince and Princess who were madly in love and were preparing to take over the kingdom when the king stepped down from the throne. Prince Darius and Princess Gwendolyn lived in the castle with the King and Queen. Prince Darius and Princess Gwendolyn were loved by all and the entire kingdom was excited that they would be the new leaders.

However, there was another Prince who lived in the castle, Prince Geoffrey. He was the younger brother of Prince Darius had always been jealous of Darius ever since they were little kids. He wanted to be the king and was angry that the kingdom loved his brother more than they loved him.

As the coronation day approached, Prince Geoffrey grew more and more angry about Prince Darius and Princess Gwendolyn becoming the new King and Queen and he decided he wanted to do something about it. Prince Geoffrey went to the village warlock and asked for a special potion that would turn anyone who drank it into an animal. The warlock did as the Prince asked but warned Geoffrey that the potion was very strong and to be careful with how he used it.  

That night Prince Darius and Princess Gwendolyn were preparing to have their last dinner together before becoming the rulers of the kingdom. Prince Geoffrey snuck into the dining room and poured the potion into their goblets. As Prince Darius and Princess Gwendolyn took their first sip, they immediately turned into wild animals - Prince Darius was now a scaly lizard and Princess Gwendolyn had turned into a tropical bird!

 When the waiter came in to deliver their dinner he didn’t see a prince and a princess but a lizard crawling around on the floor and a bird flying around the room like crazy. The waiter panicked and immediately removed the animals from the royal dining room before the king and queen saw two wild animals in their castle. Just like that, Prince Darius and Princess Gwendolyn now in their lizard and bird form were out in the wild and locked out of the castle.  

Princess Gwendolyn and Prince Darius stayed together and decided that they needed to go to the village warlock because he would be able to help them. When they finally met with the warlock he realized that Prince Geoffrey must have used that potion on the future king and queen of the kingdom. The warlock told Darius and Gwendolyn the whole story, Darius knew his brother was jealous but he never thought he would turn his back on his own family like this! Prince Darius and Princess Gwendolyn worked with the warlock to devise a plan that would help them turn back into humans and get revenge on Prince Geoffrey.  

Meanwhile back at the castle, the King and Queen were devastated to find out that Darius and Gwendolyn were missing. Coronation day was the next day and the only other person that could take the throne was Prince Geoffrey. The entire kingdom was upset that he would be there king be he didn’t care he just wanted to have complete control.  

Prince Darius and Princess Gwendolyn worked with the warlock to create a new potion that would turn them back into humans. They had a plan and were ready to come back to the kingdom and take the throne away from the evil Prince Geoffrey.
