Her real name was Norma Jeane Mortenson, when she was baptized she change her last name to Baker.

At the age of 7 she was placed with foster parents named Albert and Ida Bolender in Hawthorne and stay with them for 3 years.

When Marilyn was 16 she got marry with her lovely boyfriend and neighbor Jimmy Dougherty.

Three years later she was discovered by a photographer and start to model successfully, she also changed her hair color into blonde.

Her acting career starts with a small part in John Huston's crime drama "The Asphalt Jungle" she barely appear a few minutes, but she takes the audience with her charm.

Eventually, Marilyn became a successful Hollywood actress making a lot of her best films like: The Seven Year Itch, Some Like It Hot, The Prince and the Showgirl, and others.
