What Makes a Citizen? Going to school and keeping your room clean may sound like everyday activities, but they're actually an important part of understanding your rights and responsibilities.

When you enjoy your freedoms and take care of your work, you're demonstrating how rights and responsibilities work.

As citizens, or members of a community, we must always do our best to work together. This makes it possible to build and improve our communities.

In the United States, the Bill of Rights protects the rights of all citizens, residents and visitors in America. The Bill of Rights were added to be part of the first ten amendments of the constitution.
