Dedicated to the people who struggle with the daily challenges of having Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Moses was a victim of human trafficking. She also was separated from many of her closest friends in her homeland of Cambodia. Because of this, she was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. PTSD is an Emotional condition that sometimes follows a traumatic event; usually involving death or serious injury. This is likely to happen to Moses because she is a female, and females have a 5% higher chance to develop PTSD
than males.

A couple years later Moses was unable to sleep due to her PTSD. She also experienced other symptoms such as Emotional numbness, increased anxiety, and Depression.
She experienced flashbacks to the events that occurred to her and abused drugs.

Moses knew that there was not a cure to her disorder, however, she nervously decided to start seeing a psychologist and a psychiatrist to help her with her daily struggles and issues. the psychiatrist gave her some advice such as joining a support group, and learning relaxation exercises. He also told her about some misconceptions people may have about her PTSD such as them thinking she was just whining about everyday stress.
