I live in a family that is very busy. There are three humans living in my house. One of my family members moved away to college, but she comes home every weekend.

Our day starts early, because of work and school. Even though I can not tell time, I always know when it is getting close to time for everybody to come home. That and weekends are my favorite time!

As soon as the door opens I hear, "Hi Pepper." That makes me more excited, because I know that now I am going to get petted and loved on by my family. I will get to go for a walk and play with the people I love.

After my walk, it is time to eat dinner. I try to get them to give me some of the food they are eating, but they tell me no. Sometimes I am able to sneak me a few bites, but not very often!

After dinner, we gather in the living room to watch a movie, read, or just visit. I love to sit and listen to my family talk and laugh about their day. Even if they aren't saying anything, it is great to feel the love between them. During this time, I go back and forth between them to get all the attention I can.

When I was younger, I loved being a lap dog. Now I am much bigger, but sometimes I forget that. My family has to remind me to sit beside them.

My mom has to get on to me sometimes over the trash can. I know that I am not suppose to get into it, but I can't seem to help myself. I think mom gets really mad about it sometimes. She yells at me and makes me go lay down while she cleans up the mess.

Sometimes at night, I howl because I think I am alone in the dark so my mom takes me to her room to sleep. I don't like the dark. It can be very scary! But my mom always makes it better.
