Kai the Koi was a small fish who lived in a very nice pond at the bottom of a waterfall. He had a nice family and many friends.

Sadly not all of the fish were his friends, a lot of the other fish were mean to Kai because he was a different type of fish, a Koi fish

Kai's Mom always used to tell him stories of how Koi fish could become dragons if they were strong enough to swim up the waterfall.

Kai decided he would try to become a dragon.

He wanted to prove to the other fish that being different isn't a bad thing.

Kai started to swim up the waterfall

It was very difficult and it was tiring but Kai kept pushing forward.

When the other fish heard what he was doing they came to watch, some to cheer him on and others to watch him fail.
