"My name is Jamal, and this is my puppy, Peter!"

"Bark! Bark!"

Jamal has to go do chores before school starts, so he leaves Peter in the house alone.

"Hey Peter! I'm going to go do the chores," said Jamal.

While Jamal is gone, doing chores, Peter gets curious and decides to take Jamal's school shoes.

Peter leaves the shoes in the kitchen

Jamal came back from doing chores and got ready for school, then he realized his shoes were gone.

"Hey Peter!"

Peter whines.

"Have you seen my shoes?"

Jamal searches for his shoes, but can't find them, so he has to go to school in his boots.

"Be good while I'm at school."

Jamal came home from school.

"Hey Peter! Do you want a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?"

"Bark! Bark!"

Jamal makes 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
