In the Beginning of time there
lived the first people ever to step
foot on this earth. A woman
named Keegsquaw and a man
named Ashkir.

The man naturally hunted game
and the woman gathered nuts
and berries.

One day the woman was in the
garden with a bunny and she saw
a bright light shining in her eyes.
She thought it was the sun but
the sun never shined so brightly.

The spirit looked up at the
woman
and said, "Do not be afraid for I
am only here to help you and
guide to the right direction."

Keegsquaw let out a big scream
and Ashkir came running out to
see what all of the confusion
about.
"What's going on?" he cried out.
"T-this thing is talking to me,"
she choked out.

The spirit also looked at Ashkir
and said "Do not be afraid for I
am only here to help and guide
you into the right direction.
Ashkir looked up and asked
"What it is that you are
called?"

The spirit answered “I am
Galilahi and I am here to teach
you about love. LOVE.”
“What is this love of which you
speak of?” asked Keegsquaw.
“The feelings you both have and
do not understand- the same
that keeps you up late at night
pondering.”

“We still do not understand what you
mean,” replied Ashkir. “The only thing
I feel at night is tired because I do not
get enough sleep.”
“NO,” roared Galilahi. “Love is
something that comes naturally- it is
when you and another person have
deep feelings for each other."

The woman stared at the spirit and said, “I
think I know of this feeling that you speak of.
“Yes!” said the spirit. “This feeling cannot be
controlled- you must let nature take its
course.”
Ashkir looked up at the spirit and said
“Hmmm… how do we know we are in love?”
The spirit told him that you have and
unexplainable warm feeling when they are
around.

Keegsquaw thought to herself
“What the spirit said… that’s how
I feel when Ashkir is around, or
even when I think about him.”
Keegsquaw never exposed her
feelings for the man because they
were something she had no idea
about.
Galilahi left,
leaving them
to be alone.
Ashkir turned
to Keegsquaw
and with a
lowered voice
said “What the
spirit said… I
feel that way
towards you.
Keegsquaw
remained
silent and just
smiled.

Galilahi left, leaving them to be
alone. Ashkir turned to
Keegsquaw and with a lowered
voice said “What the spirit
said… I feel that way towards
you." Keegsquaw remained
silent and just smiled.
