There are many types of dogs, but in this book we will only show the cutest of them. From Chihuahua to Saint Bernard and all of the dogs in between!

Chihuahua

A chihuahua may be small, but they have a big personality! They need LOTS of exercise! Chihuahuas are the smallest breed in the world! Chihuahuas are small, but very smart. They can be almost any color! Because they can be aggressive, they may not be good for families with small children.

Labrador

Labrador retrievers , commonly known as "labs" are very sweet. They are very popular! In fact, they have been top on the "best dog" list for at least two decades! They have many distinctive features. A broad chest, powerful neck, and hazel eyes are some of them. Labs are cool!

Beagle

Beagles are one of the most popular hunting dogs, and for good reason: they have a strong instinct for following a trail. Similar to an English Foxhound, they have variety of color. It is a hunting dog, but it is now recognized as a companion dog.

Dachshund

A Dachshund, commonly known as "wiener" dogs, are very small. Despite their size, Dacshunds need lots of exercise. Their forefeet are larger then their hind legs. The hair on a Dachshund's head is shorter than the hair on its body.

English Bulldog

An English Bulldog is a lovable, good natured dog. They have high-set rose ears, a broad and round chest, and sloping, muscular shoulders. Bulldogs were once used as bull-baiting dogs.

Corgi

The Corgi has a long history of herding cattle. You may want to give them early training, because they may nip your ankles. Corgis tend to gain weight easily, so give them lots of exercise and a healthy diet.

Australian Shepherd

Commonly known as an "Aussie", Australian Shepherds are loyal, but sometimes feisty. The Australian Shepherd is useful as a ranch dog or tracker. They are even tempered, smart, and adaptable to family life.

German Shepherd

German Shepherds are used as guard dogs, guide dogs, and trackers. If they are trained by a responsible owner and allowed to enjoy the outdoors, they can become a great member of the family! They are very popular.

Pug

Pugs are playful and smart, but they can be willful. They need exercise, but not a lot of space. The Pug was very popular for royalty. Many people think that their scrunched up face is cute!

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

A Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has large eyes with a melting expression. They LOVE children and are easy to train, so they are a great family pet! The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel needs LOTS OF GROOMING!!!

French Bulldog

French Bulldogs are strong, well built little dogs. They make excellent companions. They have few boundaries and enjoy invading your space. French Bulldogs are ALWAYS ready for fun!
