This book is dedicated to my family, who have supported me throughout my career.

Long ago, far far away, there was a place where only shapes lived. In this place called Polygonia, there were no people, animals, or kids. This was where Cirlces, Squares, Rectangles, Triangles, and other shapes lived.

In Polygonia, The Cirlces were not friends with the Squares. The Rectangles did not like the Triangles. The Squares too were not friends with the Triangles. Because of this, the different shapes did not live on the same street or even play together.
The Circles lived on Circle Street.
The Squares lived on Square Street.
The Rectangles live on Rectangle Street.
Even the Triangles live on Triangle Street.
One day on the playground, a Rectangle saw a Circle rolling in the grass. "That's so cool," said Rectangle. "I wish I could do that." "Me too," said Triangle, walking towards them.
"Yeah, me three," said Square from behind a tree. "Well, why don't you guys try it?" Said Circle. It is really fun! "We can't," said the other shapes. "We are not round like you. We have corners and edges, so we can't roll like that."
"Then what do you guys do for fun?" Asked Circle.

"I like to flip on my sides," said Triangle, as she flipped from side to side.

"Me, I like to turn upside down," said Rectangle, standing on her hands.

"What about you?" They asked looking at Square. "I like to play peek-a-boo," said Square.

"What's that," they asked? "Watch! I am going to hide my hands and feet, while you guys close your eyes. Then you have to open your eyes and tell me if I am standing on my hands, feet, or on my side," said Square. "I can do that," said Circle. "Me too," said Triangle. "Yeah, that's too easy," said Rectangle.
