1st Month

-The mother will have nausea, and may or may not throw up

-The mother might have food cravings

-A sign of pregnancy is a missed period

-Headaches and dizziness are common

-By the end of the first month, the baby is about the size of an apple seed

2nd Month

-Even though the baby is small, it is growing at rapid pace

-During this month, mothers should begin going to monthly doctor visits

-Miscarages are most common during the first and second months

-By the end of the second month, the baby is about the size of a raspberry

3rd Month

-Mother may experience morning sickness and nausea for the first time in her pregnancy

-It is still too early for the mother to feel her baby moving

-A lot of the babies internal organs have began developing but would not be fully developed

-The babies reproductive system is still developing at this stage, so it is not possible to determine the gender yet

-The baby is the size of a plum

4th Month

-By this month, the mother will begin to notice stretch marks on her growing belly

-Hunger, itchy skin, and weight gain are also common during this month

-By this time, it is possible to know the gender of the baby

-Though the baby is still small, they will have developments like hair, eyelashes, and fingerprints

-The baby is now about the size of an avocado
