Magnum was feeling scared for his first day of grade three. ''Momma told me last night, that a lady called an ''SSP'' will be there everyday to help me in class. Her name is Miss. May''. He said to himself in a sad voice.

Magnum walked into his classroom and a dog and cat came up to him. ''Hi!! Whats your name?'' They asked in a cheerful voice.

''Umm hi, my name is Magnum'' he said to the dog and cat while feeling butterflies in his tummy. ''Nice to meet you Magnum!'' they both said. ''My name is Kit'' said the cat, ''and my name is Doug'' said the dog.

''Hi, are you Magnum?'' Magnum turned around to find a friendly smile. ''Um yes I am'' he said. Magnum started to get the butterfly feeling again. ''Don't be scared Magnum, I am Miss. May'' she said in a kind gentle voice.

''H-hi Miss. May, I am feeling a little scared'' Magnum told her. Miss. May gave him a warm smile, ''thank you for telling me how you feel, it is okay to feel scared. I promise that you will feel comfortable when I am around after getting to know me!'' she told Magnum.
