On April 6, 1995, two armed men in green and black ski masks kicked through the front door of Shemita Greer's home. They force her to lie on the floor as they raided her house. During the robbery the two men beat and blindfolded Greer leaving her with a traumatic brain injury.

In Tulsa, Oklahoma, Sedrick courtney, At the time 23, was Convicted for the robbery with a firearm and first degree burglary. He was convicted on Feburary 8, 1996.
