Johnny is Ponyboy's best friend and was apart of the greasers, but he killed a soc named Bob because he was trying to drown Ponyboy, but then he died from a fire."you really killed him,huh, Johnny."

Both Greasers and soc's drink liquer but it looks like soc's drink more."Why do people sell liquer to boys?"

It is the name of the horse that Sodapop always rode until he got taken away. "I couldn't tell her that Sod had bawled all night long after they went and got Mickey Mouse."

That is the poem that Ponyboy tells Johnny while they are both a the church looking up at the sunrise. "Nothing gold can stay I was remembering a poem I read once."

Darry, Ponboy's oldest brother is way overworked. "Darry didn't deserve to work like an old man when he is only twenty."
