It’s time for our students to take a walk in their neighborhood and take photos of things that catch their attention. They have to describe what they see, smell, hear and discuss what they feel.
In our school it is difficult for our little students to take a walk in the neighborhood. That is why we decided to stroll in the yard of our school.
It is incredible what you can see if you slow down! Our students realized that when they took a ’’different’’ walk this time. They were in the schoolyard not to play but to observe. They tracked down snails, flowers, leaves, a bee, a butterfly and a cat as you can see in the photos.

We really like autumn, so different colors on the leaves of the trees.

We love to collect leaves and use them in our crafts and drawings.

Look, we used to water the soil often!Look at how many herbs have germinated.

This car hose, protects the flower from the cold. Look at the little fuchsia flowers, are so lovely!

Today we found a bee. Seemed to be lost. We decided to get her into the flower to get pollen. We think that the bee will get more strength and be able to fly back to her home.

The car hose can also be used from spiders in order to built their home. Look at the spider web.

The trunk of this tree is very different. Look at its colors.

The soil here is very dry here. I wonder what happens if we water it.

The soil here is very different from the other side of the school yard. Look at the herbs. This is a nettle, we shouldn't touch it.

I found a shell and and an snail shell!

I see this. It look like a stone. I think that this is a nut of a tree.

It's amazing, how this flower grow up from the rocks.

I love our schoolyard. There are many insects that have our school yard as their home. We have to take care of them.

I love butterflies. How many colors. I am so happy when a butterfly visit our school.
