It was a cold, crisp morning, me and Desmond were playing in the snow, which dusted everything like a white blanket. It was Christmas Eve and we bought apple pie from Alex’s Awesome Apple Pie. I live in the taiga which covers 17% of the earth. Suddenly, we saw a huge truck go by. It had the big green letters: BP. BP already had a bad reputation for the Deepwater Horizons oil rig explosion, what were they doing now?

A day later I woke up and read the news, it said that Alaska had legalized Hydraulic Fracturing (Fracking). Then, I opened my presents. I got an ugly Christmas sweater which was warm in the cold climate. After all, it can go from -65 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Suddenly we saw a fracking complex explode, it felt like the sun was blowing up, I heard a loud earthshaking bang of epic proportions. The CEO didn’t care it, he only cared about money.
