Exposition

Chase, who is a very smart 15-year-old kid, is now facing the last half of Hurricane Emily with 16-year-old Nichole, an animal lover. They, along with Ranshaw and Mamma Rossi are inside of a barn in St. Petersburg, Florida. Their pregnant elephant, Pet is about to give birth at any minute with fuel running low in their backup generator. While they’re in the barn the adults John, the storm expert, Cindy, Mark, and Tomás are out in the storm. The adults are trying to drive to the barn in the middle of the category 5 hurricane, they must find the kids and Mamma Rossi so they can help protect them against the crazed leopard, Hector.

Rising Action

Chase and Nichole went back out into the raging storm to siphon the fuel from the land rover to refill the backup generator but they found the rover had floated away due to the surge water. So they had to find where else they could retrieve the valuable fuel in the hurricane. They head towards the animals holding cells and run into Simba, the lion that retaliated at his master by biting his head off. They escape him by suddenly turning their light off to temporarily blind him. They find the fuel, ruined, the water got to it first so they had to go to the barn next by. Walking through the barn they found dead animals and birds of sorts. They find the barn with 5 days worth of fuel. They load it into a tractor and some other things. Simba and Hector both stand in exit.

Climax

Chase quickly falls flat on the ground as Nichole backs the tractor out on top of him. Chase then runs inside the car, after it has fully driven over top him, and they drive back to the barn as fast as they could. They put the fuel inside of the generator unknowing of what, or who, followed in behind them. They hear a chair pushed over and that makes them realize their fatal mistake of leaving the door open. They rushed over to the central area and see Ranshaw on the beams and Mamma Rossi fighting off the beast Hector as the barn suddenly goes pitch dark. The lights then pop back on and they see Hector on the rafters with Ranshaw. Hector gets shot by Nichole with the tranquilizer gun she had on her.
