Margret Pokiak Lived With Her Family And each summer when the ice melted they traveled to Aklavik an outsider town well known for trading and its merchants. Every Time they visited Margret was fascinated with the outsiders schools. Every time they went to Aklavik she always asked her dad to let her go to the schools. He Always said no






When she was eight they traveled to Aklavik and she finally convinced her dad to let her go to the school. Margret went to tell her mother But she smiled and went back to work. This comforted Margret.






























As Soon As Margret got into the village her mother and her went to the Hudsons Bay store for stuff at her new school like toothpaste, stockings, tooth brush, soap, and other essentials. when they were done they walked to the School.
















As Margets mother and father prepared to drop her off at the school they wished her a happy time at the school and they dropped her off.










All of the girls were asked to tell the teachers their names, and so they did
