Years passed when Corey left school. It was time for a new beginning, a new life and a new chapter. Corey was now an adult. Corey worked and made a living as a handyman. He liked his job, his work mates and his boss.
Corey rarely thought about his old school days until Charlotte told him stories of the playground. Memories Corey very well related to.
Charlotte is the same age as Corey was when he first met "the little voice". Corey soon laughed it off when he realised time had gone by and "the little voice" would not be around.
"Charlotte. Do you get scared of anything?" Corey put it to the test one day when Charlotte was feeling sad because her friend would not talk to her at lunch.
"NO. About what?" she asked angrily.
"I don't know. Anything". Corey answered.
"No. I don't. What a dumb question anyway". Charlotte turned and walked away.

That night..
"Dinner Char". Corey entered Charlotte's room. Charlotte was laying on her bed with her toy unicorn. She got up slowly and walked toward the door where her big brother was standing. They walked to the dining table where dinner was waiting for them.
The table was set perfectly.

Corey and Charlotte took their seat and started eating.
Charlotte was eating her favourite, macaroni and cheese. Corey was eating a steak with vegetables and mashed pototoe.
Charlotte suddenly pipes out loud and says to her older brother.
"I don't want to go to school tomorrow".
"Too BAD. You have to". Corey responds.

After dinner Corey and Charlotte sat on the lounge watching TV for awhile until Charlotte fell asleep.
"Char. It's time for bed. You fell asleep". He said gently.
Charlotte slowly opened her eye's. She could hear the rain on the rooftop.
"When did it start raining?" she asked sleepily.
"About an hour ago". Corey answered.
Charlotte slowly got up and went to bed.
Corey continued watching TV.
Later that night..
The rain was steamy down, beating against the windows loudly. Thunder started to thud through the night sky as Charlotte started to wake.
Her tiny body was shaking at the noises she heard outside her window. She lay under her blanket with her eye's open watching through her windows at the rain.
The rain became louder, the thunder became worse.
Charlotte lay there in silence listening to the thunder and rain.
Finally..
The rain and thunder settled. Charlotte was able to get back to sleep eventually.
After school Charlotte walked home. It was a short walk to home from school and Charlotte liked the walk. It was a chance to be outdoors to see the tree's and the birds playing in the afternoon.
LATER THAT NIGHT...
Corey and Charlotte ate dinner. After dinner time Charlotte had a long bath playing with her LOL dolls. Once she finished her bath, she went to her room to play before bedtime.
The following morning Charlotte went to school.
During Crunch and Munch at school, she sat next to her friend Gisha. Crunch and Munch was healthy time for students where they get to eat fruit and have a drink before recess.
Charlotte had her favourite, apples. Gisha had watermelon.
Shortly after Crunch and Munch, the recess bell rang. Charlotte played with her friend Gisha. All they talked about was LOL dolls and what dolls were their favourite.
