For Corey, my older brother.

In the last book I wrote, my older brother Corey got a little angry at me for slamming his car door.

Since then, I have done it again and again.

I know I know, bad right?

I can't help it.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this story of my older brother and my adventure's. Last time, we went driving to a creek. This time we are driving to the Beach.

It started on a Summer's morning when I was visiting my older brother again. I was in bed sleeping when he burst into the room and shouted

"Get up Char. We are going to the beach. We are taking Bella too".

Bella is our dog. She's black with a shiny coat. She loves the beach.

I got up out of bed and quickly ate breakfast. I got dressed and then packed a drink and a towel.

"I'm ready Corey". said me.

Corey put Bella's leash on and lead her out to his car, where she jumped straight in the back.

I got my stuff and put on my pink thongs.

I sat in the back seat with my belt on.

Corey got in his car and off we went.

15 Minutes later we arrived at the beach car park. Bella was very excited and almost leaped out the car window.

Corey got out of the car and held Bella until I was ready.

Come on, I'm a girl. I'm allowed to take my time.

Soon after, we were walking on the sand toward the waves. It felt so fresh at the beach, I always like coming here.

Corey and I walked side by side. Corey was walking Bella as I can't hold her because she may break free and lose her.

"You SLAMMED the car door Charlotte" Corey suddenly said to me.

Oh no. I didn't know what to say. I knew I was in trouble. So, I changed the subject.

'Are you going for a swim?" I asked quietly.

"Don't change the subject Char. You SLAMMED the door again.

I knew this time I was in more trouble than I was last time. I did break the car door last time and I was'nt allowed to play Corey's XBox until he said so.

With Corey's words. We walked toward the water in silence.

I put down my towel and bag. I ran in the water, it felt fresh and salty. The waves crashing to the shore, the sound the waves made I missed. I don't have a beach nearby where I live.

I was enjoying every moment in the water.

Corey was playing with Bella in the waves, she loved it.

Corey and I stayed at the beach for a while.

"Char, we better get going. There's a storm coming".

Corey was right. If we didn't leave now, we would get caught in the storm.

Over looking the beach

It started sprinkling lightly as we packed up and grabbed out belongings.

Bella was looking up at the sky as the rain was hitting her face. Corey had Bella's leach and lead her toward the car.

I was tailing behind, trying to catch up with Corey. He was walking so fast through the sand.

"Waittttttt" I yelled.

"Come on" Corey looked back at me. My legs were moving as fast as they could.

After what seemed like hours, Corey, Bella and I made it to the car. The rain was heavy.

I got in the car and .... yep. You guessed it

I did it again. Hopefully Corey didn't notice.

But......
