He was supposed to do his homework but he didn't understand how to do it!
"Math was so hard today!" he said.
Zack sighed a big sigh and grabbed his Nintendo Switch.
"I'm gonna play some Smash Bros." he mumbled to himself.

Zack felt relaxed as he turned on his game.
"I'm gonna choose Kirby!," he exclaimed, "Kirby is the best character because he can copy other characters powers!"

"Wait...", Zack said, "This is just like polynomials.
Zack grabbed his phone quickly and exclaimed, "I gotta call Aaron!"

Zack called his best friend Aaron, "Hey dude! I think I understand polynomials!"
"Really?" Aaron asked, "Tell me!"

"Well Kirby eats other characters and then gains their powers," Zack began.
"It's just like combining polynomials!"

"Yeah, that makes sense, but do you add or multiply the characters?" Aaron questioned.

x
= Pocket Power
"What if you added villager to the equation?" Aaron wondered.
"Because he has the same power when combined with Kirby as Isabelle."
Zack thought for a moment.
"You would add or subtract the powers together." he said, "So you would have 2 pocket or no pocket"
