There once was a dolphin named Flipper.

Even though he was still little, he was much bigger and stronger than the other dolphins his age.

Flipper was becoming old enough to catch fish on his own.

Since things had always been easy for Flipper, he played with Sam the seahorse while all of the other dolphins practiced catching fish.

One sunny day, it was time for Flipper and all of the other little dolphins to show their parents they were ready to catch fish on their own.

All of the dolphins swam out to catch fish. But while all of the other dolphins caught fish after fish, Flipper couldn't catch a single one.

No matter how fast he swam, he always seemed to scare the fish off.

Flipper realized that being bigger and faster than the other dolphins didn't make up for all of the time they had practiced while he messed around.

As he went back to his family with no fish, he realized he needed to work harder if he ever wanted to catch fish on his own.

For weeks, Flipper worked harder than all of the other dolphins. He was determined to catch fish and show that he learned from his mistake.

Finally, it was time for all the little dolphins to go out fishing again.

This time, Flipper was ready to keep up with all of the other dolphins
