One day Gene and Finny were playing at recess at Devon School.

Finny goes and plays with some of the other kids. Gene gets jealous and mad because the other kids like Finny and not him.

Gene sits and thinks to himself, he really likes his friend Finny but doesn't like some things that he does.

Finny is still playing with the other children. Gene is getting upset that Finny isn't playing with him.

Finny notices Gene and suggests that the boys climb one of the trees.
