                       spooky Halloween story's

Once upon a time, 

 There lived a kind old man. He lived in a little 

house on Lemon St. His name was Phil. He was 

different though. He had eye cancer, and had 

to have a fake eye so it wouldn't look scary.

On his street, Lemon St., rumor has it that one 

half of the street has sweet people and the 

other half sour, like a lemon.

 Phil lived on the "border" of the sour and sweet people, 

but he was sweet. Phil wasn't worried, he knew most of 

his neighbors, Mrs. Smith, Mr. Stallings, a family of four 

across the street, and a man named Bruno that had just 

moved in on the house left of him.

 In the cold mornings of December, Mrs. Smith 

was dropping of her divine oatmeal cookies 

that she gave to Phil every year.

She knocked on the red door 3 times. No one 

answered. She knocked on the door a second 

time. Not one sound. She knocked on the door 

a THIRD time. Still, no one answered.

Mrs.Smith decided to go inside and see what 

was going on.
